Privacy, in plain words
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from anyone else. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send. This notice explains what happens to it, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG), wherever each applies.
In short
- No cookies. So no cookie banner either.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no advertising.
- No external requests. Fonts, images, scripts and 3D scenes are all served from this site.
- Your time zone and currency are worked out by your browser, on your device. They never reach us.
- If you send the form or write to us, we receive what you send and use it to reply.
- We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it for marketing.

Visiting this site
This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA. When you open a page, your browser sends the technical data every website receives: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the page you came from.
The host uses this data to deliver the site and keep it secure, and keeps it in server logs for 1 day. We don’t use it to identify you, and we don’t combine it with anything else.
Where the host processes data outside your country, the transfer is covered by Netlify’s certification under the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, and standard contractual clauses.
What happens in your browser
Clock and currency. Times, dates and the 0 you see are computed by your browser from its own settings. Nothing is sent anywhere.
The uptime demo. On the Pikett Care page, a small monitor sends requests to this site’s own server every few seconds, from your browser. They carry nothing beyond what any page request carries.
Settings. If you change a display setting, such as sound or motion, your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage. It isn’t a cookie, it never reaches us, and you can clear it any time.
When you use the form
The form only writes a WhatsApp message for you, in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere until you copy it or open WhatsApp and send it yourself. Then WhatsApp, run by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., carries it under its own privacy terms.
We use your brief only to answer it and, if it becomes a project, to prepare a quote and run the project. Under the GDPR the basis is steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
If a brief doesn’t lead to a project, we delete it 12 months after our last exchange. Ask and we delete it sooner.
When you call or message us
Calls and messages to +41 79 713 07 04, WhatsApp included, reach our phone directly. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. under its own privacy terms.
If you use a messaging app listed on the contact page, its provider processes the message under its own privacy terms. We keep the conversation as long as we need it to answer you or run your project.
If you become a client
We process the contact and project data needed to run your project, invoice it and meet our legal duties. Accounting records, invoices included, are kept for 10 years, as the Swiss Code of Obligations requires (Art. 958f).
Personal data we host or handle for you inside a project, on your website for example, is covered by a separate data processing agreement.
Who else sees your data
- Netlify, Inc., USA: hosting.
- WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., Ireland: only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
- For clients only: our accounting and banking providers, as far as invoicing needs it.
- Authorities, only where the law obliges us.
Nobody else.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, where it came from, what we use it for and who receives it. You can ask us to correct it, delete it, stop using it, restrict it, or hand it to you in a common electronic format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Call or message +41 79 713 07 04. A person replies within 1 hour, and the full answer comes within 30 days, free of charge. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we hand over data.
You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or to the one responsible for us: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, so pages and form submissions are encrypted in transit. There is no login and no database of visitors.
