The Deal · Websites and apps

You pay once. At the end.

A fixed price, nothing up front, nothing during. You pay after you’ve approved the finished thing. Stop any day before that and you owe 0.

It covers Pikett Web, Pikett Apps, and any Spatial work delivered as a site or an app.

01The Deal

  5. 05The day you approve

    Launch

It goes live. Code, files and rights are handed over.

    Now you pay. Once.

Shown here: a website. Apps run the same way, with a new test build on your phone every day.

Every term, in plain words

You never pay for work that doesn’t exist yet.

02How it works

Nine terms. No small print.

01

A fixed price within 4 hours.

After a 30-minute call, weekends included. The price changes only if you change the scope. The quote holds for 30 days.

02

A written scope.

Every page, screen, feature, language and integration, each with a plain test it must pass. What’s not included is written down too. So is what we need from you, and by when.

03

A direction on day one.

A working first version on a private link. You pick a direction and it joins the scope. So “finished” is measured against something you’ve already seen.

04

A preview every day.

The real build, every day, with a short recording and a three-line note. Apps arrive on your phone through TestFlight or Google Play internal testing.

05

“Finished”, defined.

Every scope item passes its test, and our launch checklist is clear: speed, devices and browsers, accessibility basics, legal pages, backups. Then you get a Ready notice.

06

Two days to check.

Mismatches go on a snag list. We fix them, and you get 2 more days to recheck. New ideas count as changes, not snags.

07

Silence has an end.

If 2 days pass without a snag list, we call you. If we still hear nothing, the work counts as approved.

08

One invoice.

Issued the day you approve: the fixed price plus approved changes. Payable within 10 days, by bank transfer or card.

09

Launch and handover.

Your choice. Pay, then launch: live and handed over the day payment arrives. Launch, then pay: live on our hosting the day you approve, handed over on payment.

Everything means the code repository, admin access, design source files, documentation and all rights.

For apps, finished means the stores.

Live in the App Store and Google Play, or approved and waiting for your release date. If a store rejects our build, that’s ours to fix.

If it rejects your business, say a licence or a regulated feature, approval isn’t held up. The app is finished once it passes the scope tests and is submitted.

We publish under our own Apple and Google developer accounts, so you don’t have to set anything up. Want it under yours? We publish there instead, or invite you into our dashboard.

03If you cancel

One message is enough.

  • Any day before you approve. No reason needed.
  • You owe 0. No cancellation fee, no invoice for “work so far”, no exit costs.
  • We keep the work. Design, code and files stay ours. No rights pass, so nobody can use them.
  • The preview link goes off within 48 hours. We tell you before it does.
  • Your materials come back. Content, logos, photos and data are returned or deleted, your choice, confirmed in writing.
  • Nothing of yours gets reused. Not your brand, your content or anything confidential. Like any studio, we keep general code and techniques.
  • Your accounts, handled. We run domains, hosting and developer accounts for you. If you prefer them in your own name, we set them up there.

04Changes along the way

Change your mind. It’s allowed.

  • Anything outside the written scope is a change. Ask whenever you like.
  • Within 4 hours you get its fixed price and its effect on the dates, in writing.
  • Approve it and it joins the scope. It’s paid with the final invoice. Still nothing up front.
  • Swaps are free: drop one item, add one of similar size, same price.
  • Fixing something that fails its scope test is never a change.

05If things go quiet

Projects pause. They don’t bill.

  • Waiting on you for more than 14 days pauses the project. One message restarts it, with new dates.
  • After 6 months paused, the quote expires and the project closes. Nothing is owed.
  • Late content never stops a project counting as finished. We enter what arrives on time. The rest goes in through the CMS, or as a change.

06After launch

60 days of free fixes.

Anything that doesn’t do what the scope says, we fix at no cost. The emergency line covers your site or app for those 60 days.

Then Pikett Care, if you want it: hosting, monitoring, updates and the emergency line. Monthly, billed after the month, cancel any day.

Pikett Care

07What you own when you pay

Everything, from the day you pay.

  • All rights to everything made for your project: code, design, copy, graphics. Transferred in full on payment.
  • Our reusable toolkit stays ours. Your project gets a permanent free licence to it.
  • Open-source parts keep their own licences. Fonts, stock and plugins are licensed in your name.
  • We show your work in public only with your written permission.

No payment until it’s finished. No ownership until it’s paid.

09Other divisions

No deposits, in any division.

Only websites and apps get The Deal in full. Everything else follows the same rule, lighter: you pay for things that exist.

  • Crews, voice talent, music licences, stock, printing and hardware are quoted separately, at cost. Nothing is booked without your written approval.
  • We run your ad accounts directly. Your media budget is billed at cost, never marked up.

  • Rights pass on payment, in every division.

10Payment questions

About the money.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one. We do everything: domains, hosting, developer accounts, publishing, the lot. You just pay, once, when it’s finished.

How can you afford this?

We do everything directly, with no middlemen, and daily previews catch problems on day one. Fixed prices cover the rare project that stops, and monthly plans keep the studio steady.

What if I cancel halfway?

You owe 0. One message ends it. The preview goes off within 48 hours, your materials come back, and we keep the work.

Can we pay in parts?

For larger builds, yes. We split the work into phases, each with its own scope, approval and invoice. Stop after any phase and the unfinished one costs nothing.

What if you’re late?

You still owe nothing until it’s finished, and you can leave any day. That beats a penalty clause. The daily preview shows exactly where things stand.

Which currency do you invoice in?

Swiss francs (CHF). You pay by bank transfer or card.

This page summarises the terms. The contract you sign is the binding version, and it says the same thing.
